Likely collected because the owner was in Hawaii at this time.  The headline refers to the Melbourne-Voyager incident, where two Australian warships collided due to navigational error. The Ship Voyager sank and 82 people were killed as a result.

This is another newspaper likely collected because the owner was visiting this area at the time – the headline of the day does not seem to be very newsworthy.  Nice large picture on the cover of Waikiki in 1964.
