This newspaper was published in Nairobi during the final years of Kenya as a colony of England.  The advertisements and articles are aimed primarily at a European and Indian audience, although some native Kenyans are included in photos.  The sports news is British.  Kenya would go on to independence from the UK in 1964, a year and a half after this publication.

The headline is not very newsworthy; this was collected because the original owner was probably visiting Kenya as a tourist at the time.

However, this piece gives a fascinating look into African during the last days of colonial rule.
