  • article from paper listing all the countries declaring war with Japan.  For example, Nicaragua declared war on Japan, as did Haiti.
  • small article about a crowd booing the Japanese consulate because they were burning papers behind the building
  • a propaganda-ish auto ad saying that a strong automotive industry was the best line of American defense.  Of course, many factories were turned over to the war effort, so the message wasn’t incorrect.
