Eisenhower and Nixon Are Nominated… The Philadelphia Inquirer 07/12/1952

Headline “Eisenhower and Nixon Are Nominated; General Maps Crusade to Win Peace, End Corruption, Taft Pledges Support”
From The Philadelphia Inquirer, 07/12/1952.

This newspaper documents the typical (for the time) party maneuvering which resulted in Eisenhower and Nixon being nominated as the Republican candidates for the 1952 presidential election.  Of course, they would go on to win the election.

At bottom of front page is great picture of a young Richard Nixon smiling.  Top front page has a large picture of Ike, also smiling.  Full page of photos included. Some fraying in upper right corner (see picture).
