Nixon Quits – Daily News 08/09/1974
Headline: “Nixon Quits”
From the Daily News, 08/09/1974
Very strong headline opens this newspaper, which covers the momentous resignation of Richard Nixon and the assumption of the Presidency by Gerald Ford. The paper recounts Nixon’s entire career (with many historical photos), Watergate, as well as the resignation and the impact on the Nixon family. A good amount of print is also given to Gerald Ford – his history, family and transition plans.
No rips or tears – this newspaper is very readable and flat.

- Great article about frozen food being served at restaurants, sometimes high priced restaurants. The article wonders if patrons would be shocked to find out about this practice, and ponders the ethics of restaurants using frozen food. A very interesting piece given how much frozen food is used in restaurants today.
